The Facebook cover video is an opportunity that is slowly starting to trickle down to Facebook page administrators everywhere. It’s a way to use a cover video instead of a cover photo. Here are some thoughts to keep in mind when dipping into the cover video
Length 20-30 seconds
Keep the video as short as possible and optimised for immediate delivery.
Size 820x312px
When uploading a video that is larger in pixels, it is possible to align and crop it. In fullscreen, the video is displayed in õiegs size.
Thumbnail
The video preview image can be selected from 10 automatically generated thumbnails. A separate custom thumbnail can be added later from the video file.
Title
It is not possible to add a separate title to your new cover video.
Statistics
For the cover video, the usual video statistics can be followed.
Voice
The voice of the cover video is automatically muted – the voice can be turned on by the user using the button on the bottom right.
