The first thing to consider is who the card is being sent to and what message you want to convey. Is a standard e-card with the usual “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” really the best choice? Perhaps it would be worth looking back at the passing year and summarizing its successes or major events. Or maybe announce major plans for next year? A special message certainly feels more personal, and the sender will be remembered. Think for a moment: how many of last year’s Christmas cards do you remember? <\/p>\n

For Christmas cards, this could be a success from the past year or a company event (such as an anniversary, etc.), a plan for next year, or employees’ thoughts on the past year \u2013 the more authentic, the better. <\/p>\n
